I don’t know why I hadn’t thought of adding this tart citrus to a smoothie before now, but now that I’ve started, I can’t get enough! This pairs two of my favorite things: cherries and limes.
In the mix:
1 c. frozen cherries
1 c. spinach or kale
1/4-1/2 whole lime (including rind, if organic! If not, just squeeze the lime.)
1/2 c. coconut milk
1/2 c. water
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. chia seeds
Stick these all in a high-speed blender (this is what I use and love) and whirl up!
